It all started with a dream.  

Wouldn't it be great if there was no work, no responsibility?  Just the freedom to have the best day ever on repeat... like Groundhog's Day.  Surf in the morning and then play eighteen holes in the afternoon.

Hence, surf a.m. / golf p.m. was born.  In the midst of the daily grind, at work or at home with the kids screaming your name, surf a.m. / golf p.m. is one heck of a mantra.

Our goal is to bring you the best of the surf as well as the turf in San Diego and beyond.  In addition to our online store we will offer a collective of stories, tips, reviews on equipment, courses, surf trips and more.

THE CREW:

surf a.m. / golf p.m. is the product of long time friends Matt and Jeff.  Matt has worked in the surf industry for over 15 years, much of it managing Encinitas Surfboards.  He graduated from the Golf Academy of America in the early 2000's.  Jeff is our man behind the scenes, having worked in the sports apparel industry for over 20 years as a production manager.  He's an avid surfer and a recreational golfer.  Our website and social media is run by Matt's wife, who has designed and run Encinitas Surfboards' website for the past five years.
